How many people does it fit?
Each Katakanu can comfortably seat up to 6 people, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or mixed‑age groups. They’re designed to be stable and spacious, so everyone can enjoy the experience together.
Can It Capsize?
Katakanus are incredibly stable and designed not to capsize under normal conditions. In the unlikely event of a wobble or if someone loses balance, our instructors are always nearby on the water to assist. You’ll also receive a safety briefing beforehand, and everyone wears buoyancy aids for peace of mind.
Do I need experience?
No experience at all is needed. Katakanus are easy to paddle, very steady, and suitable for all ages and abilities. Our instructors will guide you through everything you need to know before you set off
What should I bring or wear?
We recommend comfortable clothing you don’t mind getting slightly splashed, along with weather‑appropriate layers. We provide all safety equipment, and you’ll have access to changing rooms if you want to bring a spare top or shoes
