Had a brilliant experience at HQ2O Water Sports.
I went as part of a work sports and social outing on Thursday 25th June. All the instructors were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. They made us all feel at ease straight away. We were offered a choice of activities which we took up. I was on the currach with Thomas. He gave a great history lesson of the surroundings as we went down the Liffey to Wood Quay. Unfortunately for him, he had to do most of the work, but at least I tried. Others in the group were on kayaks rowing alongside so great group interaction. The time flew and the weather only made it ever better. After the currach we had the option of switching around so I got to try the hydrobicycles afterwards. That was great fun. We were wrecked after it all but it was worth it. Highly recommend this company.

David was patient with my friend and myself despite us not having any experience, so be sure you are in great hands. A must if you are in Dublin! I need to come back to try the bikes!

Whether you’re visiting Dublin or a local, this is a must-go. The staff are above and beyond and you can do anything from a fun, easy hydrobike to rowing down the Liffey in a traditional Irish currach, whilst learning all about the history of both the currach and the Liffey. Tómas and David are incredible hosts and seeing Dublin from the water gives you an entirely new perspective of the city.
