Frequently Asked Questions

How many people per boat?

We use traditional rowing boats, typically seating four rowers plus an instructor (or a mix depending on group size). This creates a stable, sociable boat that’s great for teamwork and learning proper rhythm.

What should I expect on the water?

You’ll learn rowing technique, work together as a crew, and enjoy a smooth glide along the Liffey with guidance from our instructors. It’s a unique way to experience Dublin — calm, active, and surprisingly mindful.

Is rowing difficult?

Rowing offers a full‑body, low‑impact workout, but you can take it at your own pace. Beginners can enjoy a gentle introduction, while experienced rowers can opt for a more energetic session. It’s suitable for most fitness levels.

Do you offer lessons?

We have both courses to learn to row or individual sessions for those with experience
