We recommend booking at least 24–48 hours in advance to secure your spot. Popular sessions, especially mornings and evenings, can fill quickly, so early booking helps guarantee your place on the water.

What happens if it rains?

Light rain won’t cancel a session — we embrace the outdoors! Severe weather may require rescheduling.

Can sessions be moved indoors?

HQ20 is water-focused, so sessions are outdoors only. Rescheduling is offered in extreme weather conditions.

What if it’s very cold?

Sessions run in cooler weather with proper guidance. Safety and comfort are always our priority.

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel an activity for operational or safety reasons, we’ll get in touch right away and offer you the choice to reschedule (subject to availability) or receive a full refund

Totally normal! Our instructors are right there to guide and reassure you, step by step.

What should i bring

Comfortable activewear, a towel, water, and a change of clothes are all you need. We provide the craft, paddles, life jackets, and any other equipment — so you can just show up and enjoy the water.

Will I get wet?

Yes — it’s water sports! You might get splashed a little, but we provide all the gear you need to stay safe and comfortable. Being on the water is part of the fun. Waterproof clothes are recommended but if you don’t have any bring a change of clothes for after your session.

Do I need experience to join?

No experience required! Our instructors guide beginners step by step so you feel confident from day one.

Can I bring my phone or valuables on the water?

We recommend leaving valuables on shore. Some waterproof cases are fine, but your focus will be on moving and enjoying the water, so it’s easiest to keep things safe and dry nearby.

Are sessions suitable for all age?

Yes! HQ20 welcomes everyone — from teens to older adults. Sessions are tailored to different abilities, so you can enjoy the water, build confidence, and stay active at a pace that suits you.

What is your cancellation policy?

We know plans can change, and we’ll always do our best to help. You’re welcome to cancel or change your booking up to 7 days before your activity.Unfortunately, we’re unable to offer refunds or make changes within 7 days of your scheduled session.

Is there parking?

There are lots of parking and public transport options. Q Park parking is a 2 minute walk away, we have a bus stop at our front door, Pearse St Dart Station is a 10 minute walk and The Red Line Luas stop is a 5 minute walk
